LIGHTING UNIT EQUIPPED WITH LIGHT SOURCE, OPTICAL CONDUCTOR, AND POLARIZING REGION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit in which the emitting face can be freely formed in order to emit released light evenly distributed.

SOLUTION: The lighting unit comprises at least one light source and at least one optical conductor connected optically to the light source, and especially the optical conductor has a polarizing face arranged as a step ladder irradiated directly or indirectly from the light source. The area of the polarizing face is enlarged as the distance from the light source irradiating the polarizing face or from the light reflecting body irradiating the polarizing face becomes larger. The lighting unit emits light which is released evenly distributed and its emitting face can be freely formed.
