<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently drive a laminated piezoelectric actuator by also applying a voltage to the piezoelectric body layers which become the outermost layers of a laminated piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: A slider 16 having the magnetic head of a magnetic disk device 12 is mounted onto a suspension 18 through a laminated piezoelectric actuator 30. The laminated piezoelectric actuator 30 is constituted by two laminated piezoelectric elements 32 and 34 and the slider 16 is moved with respect to the suspension 18 by the laminated piezoelectric actuator 30. The laminated piezoelectric elements 32 and 34 are formed by alternatively laminating piezoelectric body layers 40 and electrode layers 42 and 44 and electrode layers 42A and 44A are arranged as the outermost layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
