PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning optical apparatus, where the deviation of a irradiation position of a laser luminous flux on a photoreceptor drum due to a continuous recording or the like, is suppressed. SOLUTION: A typical components of the scanning optical apparatus are a semiconductor lasers 101a and 101b which emit laser luminous fluxes, a deflector which deflects the laser luminous fluxes emitted from the semiconductor lasers 101a and 101b, at least one or more scanning lenses 103a, 103b, 105a, and 105b which scan the photoreceptor drum 1 with the laser luminous fluxes deflected with the deflector. The scanning optical apparatus is characterized, in that the radiation position is adjusted to a position, at which the deviation of the radiating position of the laser luminous flux on the photoreceptor drum 1 generated by using the apparatus is corrected by adjusting the positions of the scanning lenses 105a and 105b, which are closest to the photoreceptor drum 1.
