PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner recovery container capable of preventing the erroneous detection to the effect that the container is full of toner. SOLUTION: The toner recovery container has a main body 9, a transparent member 11 attached to the main body 9 and a partition 13 integrally formed in the main body 9. The swollen part 112 of the transparent member 11 is swollen to the outside of the main body 9 and held by a photointerrupter to be put in between. When the amount of the toner in a first storing chamber S1 becomes equal to or above the predetermined amount and infiltrates into the swollen part 112, it is detected by the photointerrupter. The partition 13 is arranged on a boundary between the first storage chamber S1 and the second storage chamber S2 of the swollen part 112, and prevents the toner from infiltrating into the swollen part 112 until the toner accumulated in the first storing chamber S1 becomes equal to or above the predetermined amount.
