PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image processor of high functionality capable of adding an image information to a JPEG file. SOLUTION: The color image processor comprises a reader 102 which reads an image to acquire RGB data, an LSI110 which encodes the RGB data to generate a JPEG file, a line number acquiring part 130 which acquires image information about the image from an LSI driver 122, and a recorder 132 which records the image information in the JPEG file.
