PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded product for a vehicle and its manufacturing method capable of realizing easiness of manufacture and making joint property of a projection body to a base body suitable while suitably maintaining a design surface of the base body. SOLUTION: A side mold 15, i.e., a molded product for the vehicle is provided with a mold body 16, i.e., a base body made of synthetic resin; and a boss member 17, i.e., a projection body made of synthetic resin erected on a surface of the mold body 16. In the mold body 16, a part of the surface is made to the design surface 18 and a molding surface 19 for erecting the boss member 17 at an opposed position of the design surface 18, i.e., the other part of the surface. The boss member 17 is injection-molded on the molding surface 19 and a fixing seat 21 for fixing the boss member 17 onto the molding surface 19 is provided at an end of it. Further, in the molding surface 19, a part corresponding to the fixing seat 21 is formed in a recessed/projected shape.
