PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a totally enclosed motor for vehicle drive that can be miniaturized with weight reduction, that can increase output, while improving cooling performance, and that can improve the cooling properties of a bearing on the air-discharging side. SOLUTION: An annular cooling air path is provided on the inside-the-motor side surface of a bearing support member at the opposite driving side of the electric motor. An auxiliary fan is provided at the end of a rotor shaft at the outside-the-motor side of the bearing support member. One end of the cooling air path communicates with the space of the periphery portion of the auxiliary fan by one or a plurality of outside air inlets, while the other end of the cooling air path is communicated with the space outside the motor by one or a plurality of the outside-air outlets.
