PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prefabricated release device 1 for a disconnecting clutch realizing various total heights without using an auxiliary member so that it can be used in various transmissions. SOLUTION: This release device 1 comprises: an operation lever 2, and the operation lever 2 constitutes one constitutional unit with a case 3 and a release bearing 4. The case 3 is directly supported by the operation lever 2 though mounting faces 8a, 8b, 18a, 18b of various lengths, thus the correction of height S is realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
