<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a read driving circuit and driving control method thereof in which power consumption related to amplification processing can be reduced when amplifying detecting signals output in parallel from photo-sensors into a predetermined signal level, and image reading apparatus comprising the read driving circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The read driving circuit includes: a shift register SRT which outputs a shift signal Sx sequentially in a predetermined timing in accordance with each of a plurality of read lines Lread individually connected to a plurality of photo-sensors arranged in parallel; a source follower type amplifier circuit, comprising a serial circuit constituted of a driving side switching element SW11 and a load side switching element SW12, operating on the basis of the shift signal Sx; and a read circuit section RDAx, individually provided in accordance with the read lines Lread, comprising an output control switch SW13 for outputting to an output line Lout read data Vdata based on a potential of a connecting node N11 of the serial circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
