<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a ripple projecting device whereby spacial rendering creating a feeling of presence in liquid, and natural and excellent relaxation effect are materialized by projecting natural and various ripples on the liquid surface to the surfaces of surrounding walls. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid storage tank 3 is formed by rectangularly surrounding a circular window part 2 fluid-tightly shielded by a transparent plate 10, from four sides by side walls 11a, 11a, 11b, 11b on a ceiling wall 8, and a wave making device 5 is disposed near by one of the four corners of the liquid storage tank 3. A wave making plate 35 set parallel with the side walls 11a, 11a on one side and disposed at a corner part position C with the plate immersed in water W in the liquid storage tank 3 is rocked, and thereby, main waves advancing along the side walls 11b, 11b on the other side in parallel with the rocking direction are generated. Since illumination light from illuminating devices 4, 4 disposed on the water surface permeates the water w rippled by the wave making device 5 in the liquid storage tank 3, ripples having indeterminate shapes are projected to the wall surfaces in the lower part of the ceiling wall 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
