<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge start stages of load equipment without specially providing a new device. <P>SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply 2 is connected to a computer 1 which is load equipment supplied with power by a communication cable 5 of predetermined communication standards and is started based on the power supply, and the uninterruptible power supply 2 has a communication member 44 which receives a signal by an initial setting operation of start from the computer 1. The uninterruptible power supply 2 detects voltage of the communication cable 5 and a signal transmitted to the communication cable 5 after starting the power supply to the computer 1 as the load equipment, and on the basis of these detection results, the uninterruptible power supply 2 judges that failure of hardware of the computer 1 occurs when predetermined voltage is not detected and judges that abnormality caused by a program of the computer 1 occurs when no signal is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
