PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical semiconductor device capable of inexpensively preventing malfunction of an integrated circuit element by electromagnetic noise while further miniaturizing the device. SOLUTION: The optical semiconductor device A comprises a conductor 1A where first and second islands 11, 12 are integrally formed, an integrated circuit element 2 mounted on the first island 11, an optical semiconductor element 3 mounted on the second island 12, and a resin package 4 for sealing the respective elements 2, 3. In the optical semiconductor device, the conductor 1A has a folded part 13 bent between the first and second islands 11, 12 whereby the first and second islands 11, 12 are separately opposed by a predetermined interval, and the integrated circuit element 2 is mounted on inside surfaces in opposite directions Y1, Y2 of the first and second islands 11, 12, and further the optical semiconductor element 3 is mounted on outside surfaces in the opposite directions Y1, Y2 of the first and second islands 11, 12.
