PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine in which the height of a coil end can be lowered. SOLUTION: The high-voltage rotary electric machine 100 is provided with a rotor 2 and a stator 1 oppositely arranged at radial outside of the rotor 2. The stator 1 is provided with a cylindrical stator core 12, and a stator winding 6 having coil ends 60A, 60B protruding from both end surfaces of axial direction of the stator core 12. The stator winding 6 has a plurality of phase widings, and each of the phase windings is formed by joining ends of a plurality of conductive segments 11 arranged along a dimensional direction in a slot formed in the stator core 12. One of the ends of phase wire forms a leading wire for a leading-out wire obtained by extending one conductive segment arranged in the outermost layer of the slot in an axial direction. Leading-out lead wires 131, 132 and 133 are arranged adjacently to radial outside of the leading-out wire for lead wire and joined, and extend in the stator core 12 side along the axial direction.
