PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of multicarrier transmission where transmission efficiency is high, the time response of each modulation symbol is limited, and demodulation spectrums of each carrier wave are concentrated. SOLUTION: In the method of multicarrier transmission which modulates a plurality of carrier waves by each symbol with transmission data and generates and transmits it, when setting a symbol time interval to be Tsand a frequency interval of the plurality of carrier waves to be fs, fs=1/2Tsis formed. The time response of each symbol of the multicarrier signal is limited and longer than 2Tsand transmitted overlapped with each other in a time area.
