PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage rack for preventing the damage of merchandise while reducing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: In a merchandise storage rack 3 where a plurality of merchandise storage paths 20 extended meandering along a vertical direction for sequentially storing inputted merchandise W in a lateral posture are arranged side by side, a central path formation member 25 positioned between the adjacent merchandise storage paths 20 among path formation members forming the merchandise storage paths 20 is provided with a central guide board 251 extended meandering along the vertical direction, a flapper 26 arranged so as to be rockable in such configurations that it moves backward and forward to the merchandise storage path 20 in at least one of protrusions 252 and 253 of the central guide board 251 and a coil spring 27 for energizing the flapper 26 to move forward to the merchandise storage path 20 in a normal status, and for permitting the flapper 26 to move backward against the energizing force when merchandise W passing the merchandise storage path 20 is butted to the flapper 26.
