PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank mechanism for improving sound/vibration performance of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: In a double-link type crank mechanism, an acceleration amplitude of a tertiary component is determined to be smaller than that of other order component of sextic component or less among the acceleration amplitudes of order components on the basis of a crank rotating speed of a piston acceleration. Thus the amplitude of the tertiary vibration component of the piston acceleration can be positively reduced, and the deterioration of the sound/vibration performance of the internal combustion engine caused by the tertiary vibration component of the piston acceleration can be prevented.
