PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely prevent leakage to the outside of exhaust gas flowing in a valve base section. SOLUTION: A plate-shaped airtight retaining member 18 is arranged on an upper surface of the valve base section 14 in the inside of which the exhaust gas flows. The airtight retaining member 18 is formed with first and second plane portions 46, 50 and a clamp portion 54 formed like a plane and first and second bead portions 48, 52 interconnecting between the first and second plane potions 46, 50 and the clamp portion 54. When the airtight retaining member 18 is clamped between the valve base section 14 and a drive section 16, the airtight retaining member 18 is in line-contact at a plurality positions with a ring member 60, the valve base section 14 and a guide member 32 through first to fourth boundary portions D1-D4.
