PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage asphalt tank which has a plurality of storage tanks formed in a tank main body, can control the temperature of the upper-stage storage tank, and can store a plurality of types of materials in the storage tanks. SOLUTION: In the multistage asphalt tank which has the plurality of storage tanks formed in the tank main body by horizontally arranging a bulk head in the tank having a heat source near a bottom thereof, each storage tank has an air layer secured therein and a flue for communicating between the air layer and the outside of the tank. According to the multistage asphalt tank, by virtue of provision of the air layers, heat transfer between the storage tank in an upper stage of the air layer and the storage tank in a lower stage of the air layer is interrupted, and air outside the tank can be introduced via the flue into the tank, whereby the temperature of the storage tank in the upper stage of the air layer can be separately controlled from the temperature of the storage tank in the lower stage of the air layer.
