PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening portion device on which a weather strip plate can be mounted while preventing the passage of wind therethrough even when a tapping hole exists. SOLUTION: The opening portion device comprises a frame body A, sliding doors C, D stored in the frame body A movably in the cross direction, and the weather strip plate K for blocking a gap between a mating portion between the sliding doors C, D and an upper frame 1 of the frame body A during closing the sliding doors C, D. In the upper frame 1 of the frame body A, the tapping hole 12 is provided ranging to the longitudinal direction of the upper frame 1. The weather strip plate K is fitted into the upper frame 1 in the longitudinal direction and mounted on the position of the upper frame 1 corresponding to the mating portion between the sliding doors C, D during closing the sliding doors C, D, and its portion (a protruded portion) 54 closes an internal space of the tapping hole 12.
