PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain cover capable of letting each folding-back part uniformly elongate without applying large pulling force to only a part of a bellows part when elongating. SOLUTION: This chain cover 30 surrounding a load chain suspended from a main body of a chain block is a cylindrical member provided with the bellows part 31 capable of expanding and contracting in the axial direction, its upper end is fixed to a main body side of the chain block, its lower end is fixed to a load chain side, and the lower end of the chain cover 3 vertically moves in accordance with winding-up and winding-down of a chain to expand, contract, and deform the bellows part 31. This chain cover is provided with intermediate plates 38 provided at a predetermined interval in the bellows part 31, while an upper plate 36, a lower plate 37, and the intermediate plates 38 in the bellows part 31 are mutually connected by a hanging yarn 43 to support self-weight of the chain cover 30 applied on the intermediate plates 38 and the lower plate 37 by the hanging yarn 43 when the chain cover 30 is elongated.
