<p>A display device and an electronic apparatus are provided to separate wires from a display panel such that the wires are not placed behind the display panel to prevent the display panel from being damaged due to the wires. A display device(23) includes a display panel, a case, a cover, a frame(24), and wires(100). The display panel has a screen displaying images. The case receives the display panel and has a wall(221) enveloping the edge of the display panel with a gap between the edge of the display panel and the wall. The cover covers the portion between the edge of the display panel and the wall of the case. The frame includes a portion(242) coming into contact with the edge of the backside of the display panel and a portion(243) for separating the display panel from the wall of the case. The wires pass through a space between the separating portion and the wall of the case.</p> |
