A package type air compressor is provided to enhance the circulation of the cooling gas within the package by suspending the bottom surface of the storage tank apart from the bottom inside the package and thus to improve the cooling effect. A package type air compressor comprises a compressor main body(2), a motor(3), a storage tank(4), and an outlet(10). The storage tank temporarily stores the air compressed in the compressor main body. The outlet discharges the cooling gas introduced from outside after circulating it within a package(1). The bottom of the storage tank is suspended apart from the bottom inside the package.
