A hammer is provided to improve reliability and safety of the hammer by preventing a handle part made of wood from being separated from a head part during hammering work. A hammer(100) comprises a handle part(10) provided at a front end thereof with a stepped portion(11), a head part(20) having a handle insertion hole(21), and epoxy resin for fixing a front end of the handle part. A support hole(12) is formed through the stepped portion of the handle part. A groove(14) extends from the support hole to the front end of the stepped portion. A fastening unit(40) is inserted into the support hole and extends to the groove through the support hole. The fastening unit fixes the head part together with the epoxy resin.
