The invention relates to a fastening element for vehicle parts, especially for attaching a heat shield to a bolt-shaped fastening means (13) of a vehicle body. Said fastening element comprises a gripping disk (2) and a spring disk (3) that is retained on claws (2.1) of the gripping disk. The gripping disk (2) is provided with an opening (6) while the spring disk (3) can be interlocked with the bolt-shaped fastehing means. The invention further relates to a vehicle part, particularly a heat shield, which is equipped with such a fastening element. In order to be able to mount such a fastening element faster and produce the same at a lower cost than conventional fastening elements of said type, the gripping disk (2) encompasses at least one clipping element (8) that is assigned to the opening (6), faces away from the spring disk (3), and is embodied so as to be guided through a breakthrough (7) in the vehicle part (5) or the heat shield. Said at least one clipping element (8) is fitted with an undercut (10) that is to interlock with the edge region of the breakthrough (7) of the vehicle part or heat shield. |
