A clock generator for a UHF-RFID tag is provided to generate a clock signal with an accurate frequency, even when PVT(Process Voltage Temperature) change, by compensating for a clock frequency using a preamble signal. A clock generator for a UHF-RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag includes a compensation signal generator(110), a switching unit(120), and an output unit(130). The compensation signal generator receives a preamble signal and a clock signal, which are directly transferred to the RFID tag. The compensation signal generator generates the compensation signals according to the number of clock signals, which are generated while a TARI(Tary A Reference Interval) signal is supplied. The TARI signal is included in the preamble signal. The switching unit includes plural switching elements and plural resistor elements. The switching unit receives the clock signal and the power voltage, and changes the resistance with respect to the clock signal, when the switching element is turned on and off according to the compensation signals. The output unit receives the output signal and the source voltage and generates a compensation clock signal. |
