In one embodiment, a program such as an editor, a database, a source and a mechanism. An editor program provides for editing a stored procedure. The databases includes the stored procedure. The SCC system stores versions of the stored procedure. The mechanism checks in and checks out the stored procedure to provide for effective versioning thereof.
