A display device and an electronic apparatus are provided to enable heat generated from a light source to be transmitted to a cover through a frame, a heat sink, and a heat radiation part sequentially, thereby improving the durability of the light source. A display device includes a frame(23) and a cover. The frame holds a display panel having a thin member and a light source which radiates the display panel with light. The cover covers the frame. The display device includes a heat sink(25) and a heat radiation part. The heat sink is positioned in a center portion of a side of the frame extending in a width direction of the display panel, and extends into and out of the frame. The heat radiation part is installed in the cover to be in contact with the heat sink at a position out of the frame.
