An automatic response service supply method using a multimedia message and a system therefor are provided to offer a determined default message to a sending terminal even though a multimedia text message for an automatic response is not registered, thereby giving convenient usage methods to receiving and sending terminal users. A designated key click is received from a service user to set on/off states of an automatic response for the user's receiving terminal(S101). If a call attempt for the receiving terminal exists from a sending terminal, the set on/off states are confirmed(S102,S103). If the automatic response is on, a multimedia message associated with the receiving terminal is extracted from a predetermined response message management center(S104-S106). The extracted multimedia message is transmitted to the sending terminal(S107). |
