A mobile terminal handover method is provided to be capable of tracking a mobile path of a mobile terminal to previously complete setting for handover execution in a base station for performing handover before handover occurs, thereby more stably conducting handover in a short time. A location of a mobile terminal is tracked more than two times at certain time intervals. A mobile path of the terminal is calculated on the basis of the tracked results. A handover occurrence area, where a service is transferred to a next base station after a service provided from one base station is completed according to movement of the terminal, is predicted. Setting for performing the service to the next base station is previously carried out so as to continuously perform the service. Handover is executed.
