A plasma display panel is provided to optimize a shape of phosphor layers in discharge cells by implementing a barrier rib of front and rear substrates using air hole distribution having different air hole sizes from each other. A plasma display panel includes first and second substrates(10,20), barrier ribs(16), address electrodes(11), and first and second electrodes. The first and second substrates are formed opposite to each other. The barrier ribs disposed between the first and second substrates define discharge cells. The address electrodes are extended to a first direction corresponding to the discharge cells. The first electrode and the second electrode(32) are extended to a second direction across the first direction and formed on the front substrate corresponding to the discharge cells. The barrier ribs have at least two type air hole distributions at the first and second substrates.
