A wireless headset for a multimedia device and a method for controlling a multimedia device using the same are provided to check an image signal inputted to a multimedia device at a remote place by checking the image signal inputted to a camera of the multimedia device through an image output unit installed on a wireless headset. A wireless headset for a multimedia device includes a wireless local communication module(120), a user interface(130), an output unit(140), and an input unit(150). The wireless local communication module is communicated with a multimedia device through wireless communication. The user interface receives a control command of a user for operating the multimedia device. The output unit receives and displays an image signal which is inputted to an image capturing module of the multimedia device through the wireless local communication module. The multimedia has a voice recording module. The input unit transmits the voice signal to the multimedia signal through the wireless local communication module in response to an input of the voice signal. |
