The equipment has an envelope placed around a part of a body to be treated and comprising a gas inlet (6) and gas outlet. The envelope is constituted of tubular shaped lower and upper shells (1, 2) defining a cavity whose section is greater than that of the body to be treated. A physio-chemical sensor analyzes atmosphere in the cavity. A sleeve has an end connected to the periphery of an opening of the envelope.
