A stopper for protecting children is provided to remove a sealing member from an inlet of a container automatically by pushing a press unit of a sealing member removing unit before opening a stopper body and then, turning the stopper body. A stopper for protecting children is composed of an inner stopper(14) installed at an inlet(12) of a container(10); an outer stopper(16) disposed at the outer peripheral surface of the inner stopper to idle for the inner stopper; first keys(30) formed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner stopper in a circumferential direction; second keys(32) formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outer stopper in a circumferential direction and engaged with the first keys only in pushing the outer stopper with power over predetermined level; and safety devices formed at the outer and inner stoppers, respectively. The safety devices separate the first and second keys if the stopper is not operated, and engage the first and second keys with each other if the stopper is operated to separate the stopper from the inlet of the container.
