A container stopper is provided to prevent children from opening a container by idling an outer stopper in the opening direction by adjusting a gap between the outer and inner stoppers. A container stopper is composed of an inner stopper(14) installed at an inlet(12) of a container(10) and provided with at least one first key(30) formed at the outer side; an outer stopper(16) combined to the outer side of the inner stopper to idle it for the inner stopper and provided with at least one second key(32) engaged with the first key and turned to rotate the inner stopper; and a safety device adjusting a gap between the first and second keys. The safety device changes a gap between the keys from a first key gap capable of idling the outer stopper in the opening direction by the rotation of the outer stopper even in applying force to the outer stopper, into a second key gap capable of rotating the inner stopper in the opening direction by the rotation of the outer stopper.
