A communication method between telephones by using Internet-available media and a device thereof are provided to set a telephone number of a substantially used sending terminal and a sending telephone number displayed to the other party when necessary, thereby satisfying various needs of a user. When information is inputted, an IP(Internet Protocol) switching system(110) and a telephone(120) equivalent to a sending number transceive a call connection request signal and a call connection response signal. When the transceiving between the IP switching system and the telephone is completed, the IP switching system and a telephone(130) equivalent to a receiving number transceive a call connection request signal and a call connection response signal. If the transceiving is completed, it is controlled to activate communication between the telephone equivalent to the sending number and the telephone equivalent to the receiving number through a random channel.
