A mixture for the prevention of sleepiness is provided to enable one to easily spray the mixture into one's mouth even while driving and instantly shake off sleepiness. A mixture for the prevention of sleepiness comprises 65~75% of hot pepper extract, 18~28% of hydrated citric acid, 0.5~2% of peppermint flavoring, and 0.2~1% of sodium citrate. The mixture further comprises apple concentrate, Cnidium officinale extract, Angelica gigas Nakai extract, pineapple flavor, enzyme-treated stevioside, and grapefruit seed extract. The capsaicin and strong sour taste of the mixture prevent sleepiness.
