An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module and a terminal device having the same are provided to enhance the torsion strength or the bending strength of a mold frame, thereby preventing a panel supported by the mold frame from being damaged. An LCD module comprises at least one LCD panel, a backlight unit disposed at the rear of the LCD panel to emit light to the LCD panel, and a mold frame(40) for supporting the LCD panel and the backlight unit. A mold body of the mold frame is formed of a synthetic resin material in order to support the LCD panel and the backlight unit. Strength-reinforcing members(45) are respectively inserted into both long sidewalls(43) of the mold body in order to reinforce a bending strength and a torsion strength of the mold body. The mold frame is manufactured through insertion molding such that the strength-reinforcing member is inserted into the mold body. Herein, the strength-reinforcing member is formed of stainless steel so as to improve the bending strength or the torsion strength of the mold frame significantly. |
