CONTRAST RATIO ADJUSTMENT UNIT AND PROJECTION APPARATUS USING THE SAME

A contrast ratio adjusting unit and a projection apparatus using the same are provided to simplify a structure of the unit by integrating a contrast ratio adjusting part with a lens part in an outer body tube, thereby reducing the space of the outer body tube. A contrast ratio adjusting unit(140) of a projection apparatus comprises a contrast ratio adjusting part(1401), and a lens part(1403). The contrast ratio adjusting part adjusts an open area of an image light passing hole. The lens part includes at least one lens which magnifies or contracts the image light which passes through the contrast ratio adjusting part. The contrast ratio adjusting part and the lens part are integrated with the inside of an outer body tube(1300) by combining members(1310), and are linearly moved along a moving path which is formed at the outer body tube.
