A mobile communication system for transceiving wireless Internet initial screen configuration data, a controlling method thereof, and a mobile communication terminal used in the system are provided to display a wireless Internet initial screen by using flash files without individually downloading the flash files whenever wireless Internet is connected, thereby reducing a time and a cost. A mobile communication terminal(10) transmits a wireless Internet initial screen configuration data demand message including a self state and a requested wireless Internet address to a wireless Internet server(20). The server has wireless Internet initial screen configuration data divided into background data and text data, and sends the background data and the text data to the terminal according to state information of the terminal, or sends the text data only to the terminal if the request message is received. |
