A paper feed cassette locking apparatus of an image forming apparatus is provided to support a paper feed cassette easily by placing first and second levers on two sides of the paper feed cassette and rotating the levers on a rotary shaft. A paper feed cassette locking apparatus of an image forming apparatus(1) comprises a button assembly, a catching protrusion(200), and at least one elastic restoring unit. The button assembly is installed in the image forming apparatus and has at least one lever which is rotated by a button(110). The catching protrusion is arranged on a paper feed cassette, which is removably provided in the image forming apparatus, to hook the lever at the state that the paper feed cassette is mounted. The elastic restoring unit applies a constant restoring force in the same direction as the paper feed cassette is pulled out. The button assembly includes the button, a first elastic member(111), a first lever(121) and a second lever which are rotated on a rotary shaft(123) as the button is pressed, and a lever shaft which connects the first and second levers to have the same rotary volume.
