#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves coupling a compression stage (C) of a turbocharger (TC) to a mechanical outlet i.e. shaft (22). A working gas i.e. air, from an outlet (16) of the compression stage is directed towards a heat exchanger (10), where hot fume is supplied to the exchanger. Heat energy or part of the heat energy contained in the hot fume is transferred to the working gas in the exchanger. The working gas from an outlet of the exchanger is sent in a direction of an inlet (18) of an expansion stage (D) of the turbocharger to provide mechanical energy at the level of the shaft. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for an installation for utilizing hot fume issued from combustion of combustible materials. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for utilizing hot fume issued from combustion of combustible materials e.g. biomass or solid/liquid waste, for producing mechanical energy to be transformed into electrical energy via a converter e.g. alternator (all claimed). Can also be used for utilizing hot fume issued from combustion of other combustible materials e.g. solid, liquid, gaseous hydrocarbon, industrial waste, household waste, wood, wastewater treatment plant sludge, petrol, pallet, forest exploitation waste, cereal, straw, cattle cake, vegetable waste. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method allows facilitating easy and effective production of the mechanical energy so as to be transformed into the electrical energy via the alternator in a simple manner. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a schematic view of an installation for utilizing hot fume issued from combustion of combustible materials.
