摘要 A display apparatus, a driving method thereof, and an electronic system thereof are provided to perform threshold voltage or mobility compensation operations on a driving transistor by inserting a non-illumination period between illumination and sampling periods. A display apparatus includes drivers for scanning pixels and a pixel array unit having first and second scan lines, signal lines, and matrix typed pixels disposed at cross sections of the respective lines. Each of the pixels includes an illumination element(EL), a sampling transistor, a driving transistor(T2), a switching transistor(T3), and a capacitor(C1). The sampling transistor samples a signal voltage level of an image signal from the signal lines and stores the sampled signal voltage level in the capacitor. The driving transistor drives the illumination element according to the stored signal voltage level. The switching transistor turns off the illumination element according to a control signal before the sampling of the image signal.
