<p>A liquid cooling system of an electric device is provided to increase torque of the electric device by forming a cooling jacket with steel to reduce a thickness of the cooling jacket. A liquid cooling system of an electric device(10) includes a frame(24), a cover(26), and at least one protrusion. The frame is attached to a stator(18) of the electric device to conduct heat. The cover is mechanically attached to the stator and fluidly sealed to the frame so that a cavity(34) is formed between the cover and the frame. At least protrusion extends inside the cover by a distance between the cover and the frame. The frame and the cover are thin wall structures. At least protrusion increases turbulence of fluid flowing in the cavity.</p> |
