An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to implement a dot inversion driving method and an overdrive driving method applicable to a small and medium TFT(Thin Film Transistor) LCD panel, improve display quality of the small and medium TFT LCD panel, and reduce power consumption. A first gate driver(400) drives gate lines of odd rows of plural gate lines once or more within an image display period for displaying an image signal for one screen. A second gate driver(500) drives gate lines of even rows of the plural gate lines once or more within the image display period. A driving controller(700) outputs an over-driven image signal by adding the image signal to overdrive voltage set according to a level of the image signal during one or more driving periods of driving periods of the first and second gate drivers. The driving controller outputs a normal image signal, which is not over driven, during the rest driving periods. A source driver(200) drives plural source lines based on the over-driven image signal and the normal image signal applied from the driving controller. |
