A panel type display device is provided to minimize a temperature rise inside a case and a display panel by cooling the display panel and circuit boards by separating first and second cooling passages from each other. A panel type display device includes a case(10), a display panel(20), at least one circuit board(32), a first cooling passage(60), and a second cooling passage(70). The display panel is installed inside the case. At least one circuit board controls the display panel. The first cooling passage cools the display panel. The second cooling passage cools the circuit board. The first and second cooling passages are separated from each other. The case includes a front case(11) and a rear case(12) which are coupled to each other. The rear case includes a circuit board coupling unit(42) on an outer surface to install the circuit board.
