A vegetating block manufacturing device and a method are provided to make bonding of vegetating blocks firm by producing plural vegetating blocks at the uniform and accurate standard within one cycle by forming vegetating grooves at the upper and lower sides. In a vegetating block manufacturing device for molding a vegetating block by pouring mortar into a lower mold(10) and pressing the mortar by an upper mold(20), the lower mold has an insertion hole formed at the lower part to form a lower vegetating groove and an upper vegetating groove forming unit(12) disposed at the upper part to form an upper vegetating groove. A vegetating groove forming rod(40) is fitted into the insertion hole and inserted or separated from the lower mold while reciprocating longitudinally. A support plate(50) moves vertically to be attached to or detached from the lower part of the lower mold and supports the poured mortar. A mortar supply container(30) has a recessed groove part(31) formed on the front upper side correspondently to the shape of the upper vegetating groove and an uneven part(32) formed at the lower side corresponding to the shape of the upper vegetating groove forming unit. The mortar supply container filled with mortar is transferred to the lower mold and returned to the original position after pouring the mortar into the lower mold. And then, the upper vegetating groove is formed by removing the residual mortar by the uneven part of the mortar supply container. The upper mold has a protruded unit(21) formed at the lower part to form the upper vegetating groove, and moves down to press the mortar filled into the lower mold. |
