A method for increasing the efficiency of button operation in electric/electronic devices is provided to improve the convenience of work by arranging frequently used buttons more closely to a display part. A key button matrix of 3 rows and 4 columns is provided. Numbers 1, 2, and 3 are respectively and sequentially arranged at the button of the first row. Numbers 4, 5, and 6 are respectively and sequentially allocated to the buttons of the second row. Numbers 7, 8, and 9 are respectively and sequentially arranged at the buttons of the third row. At the buttons of the last row, "*", 0, and "#" are respectively arranged in sequence. English letters "Q" and "z" are allocated to button number 1. English letters "A", "c", and "b" are allocated to button number 2. English letters "e", "D", and "f" are allocated to button number 3. English letters "i", "h", and "G" are allocated to button number 4. English letters "l", "k", and "J" are allocated to button number 5. English letters "o", "n" and "M" are allocated to button number 6. English letters "s", "r", and "P" are allocated to button number 7.
