HANDOVER METHOD USING A HANDOVER-CAPABLED RELAY SATION AND MULTI-HOP RELAY SYSTEM

A hand-over method by using a relay station including a hand-over control function and a multi-hop relay system are provided to control the hand-over of mobile stations and to report the control result to a base station collectively. A hand-over request message including the list of hand-over target mobile stations is transmitted to a base station(S150). Thereafter, a hand-over response message including the hand-over acceptance or refusal of the hand-over target mobile stations is received from the base station(S155). The hand-over of the mobile stations with the hand-over acceptance is performed by the base station(S160). The hand-over execution message including the hand-over operation result of the mobile stations is transmitted to the base station(S165). The hand-over execution message includes the addresses of the new access stations of the mobile stations. The information of the hand-over mobile stations is updated on the basis of the hand over execution message.
