摘要 A method for preparing polyoxyalkylene polyether products is provided to be useful in preparing polyoxyalkylene oxides having a narrow product distribution using a modified calcium oxide or modified calcium hydroxide and a lanthanum phosphate catalyst. A method for continuously preparing polyoxyalkylene polyether products having a number average molecular weight of N includes the steps of: (a) establishing, within a continuous reactor, an initial portion of a catalyst/ initial starting material mixture effective for initiating polyoxyalkylation of the initial starting material after an alkylene oxide is charged into the continuous reactor; (b) continuously charging at least one alkylene oxide into the continuous reactor; (c) continuously charging at least one continuously-added starting material identical to or different from the initial starting material into the continuous reactor; (d) continuously charging a new catalyst and/or an additional catalyst/additional starting material mixture into the reactor to maintain catalytic activity; (e) continuously performing at least the steps (b)-(d) until the polyoxyalkylene polyether product having a number average molecular weight(N) is obtained; and (f) removing the polyoxyalkylene polyether product from the continuous reactor continuously.
