An air/liquid exchanger (10) dehumidifies the air to be treated. The exchangers are placed in series for reheating air from the air/liquid exchanger and/or external air with the air to be treated. An air outlet (42) evacuates the dehumidified and reheated air. The exchangers are housed in an external case (6). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for treating hot and humid air from an electric, steam or gas type drier e.g. household/industrial drier, commercial laundry drier or self-service laundry drier, of a drying installation (claimed) in a laundry or dry cleaner. Can also be used for dehumidifying air in a swimming pool or hot water discharged into the swimming pool or sanitary hot water production balloon, and for drying humid goods in an industry. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The arrangement of the exchangers permits recuperation of heat from the hot and humid air of the drier so as to reheat the air to be sent into the dryer, thus reducing energy consumption. The exchangers are housed in an external case, thus improving aesthetic appearance of the device.
